WONDER.

Around the corner from my apartment is an old Wonder Bread bakery/warehouse that baked Wonder Bread in the 1950's and 60's.  Tonight, while taking a picture of the old burnt out factory, an old man stopped next to me and looked at the old structure..."When I was a young kid, my buddy's and I used to steal loaves of bread by the truckload out the back of this shop every chance we could!"  He laughed out loud staring at the old building, as if he was staring back at his childhood.  It may just be an old abandoned warehouse, but this old man and I think it's worth at least a good story.  #theamericanramble

Shop Local.

Over the past few weeks, I've been starting off my mornings with a small, local coffee roaster in downtown Hoboken.  Wedged between two huge Starbucks, the owner of Bean Vault Coffee loves to promote his idea of supporting local industry.  As far as I'm concerned, I've found the best coffee in town and a mom and pop shop like Bean Vault Coffee is what #theamericanramble is all about.

Dierks Bentley's "RISER"

To me, Dierks Bentley is the definition of The American Rambler.  Dierks has been climbing his way through the country and bluegrass music scene for 15 years now, and has shared the stage with some of the greatest American musicians of our time.  His newest record, RISER, released in February of this year serves as strong competition for Dierks Bentley's best work yet.  Click the link above to watch the making of Dierks Bentley's seventh studio record, RISER.  #theamericanramble
